Today I have a haul for you all! I haven’t purchased anything beauty related in a while so I’m long overdue for a post like this. After my no buy I learned a lot about my spending habits. I have a tendency to purchase a million things at once, instead of building overtime. I still buy quite a few things, but I’m certainly more rational with my spending. So with that said let’s dive into the haul shall we!?
Real Techniques Beauty Blender: I love my beauty blender but I’ve always wanted a more affordable option. I’m looking forward to using the flat side of this to help set my makeup!
Zote Laundry Detergent: I didn’t want to pay for the actual BB cleaner so I shopped for a cheaper option. I saw a video using detergent and was plea surly surprised since other home remedies haven’t been working. Hopefully it makes my beauty blender as good as new.
Japonesque Makeup Brush Cleaner
I wanted a daily cleaner as well so I could use the brush multiple times in one sitting. I normally pick up the one from Sephora but I wanted to try something different.
Urban Decay De-slick Oil Control
I have the urban decay all nighter spray but wasnt very impressed. I’m hoping this version will help keep my makeup on but also prevent oiliness.
ABH Brow Definer
I’m not a huge fan of doing my brows, butttt ever since I switched from glasses to contacts I’ve wanted to give my brows a little extra attention. One of the reasons why I never liked the brow wiz is because the pencil was so thin and I had to really push to apply the product. The brow definer is significantly thicker so I’m hoping that makes a difference.
Sacha Cosmetics Buttercup Setting Powder
I’ve heard a million and one things about this on youtube and I’ve honestly been putting off buying it for no valid reason other than laziness. I hate ordering beauty products online, I prefer to look at the product, touch and sample it first before I make the commitment to buying it. This will have be my 6th setting powder so I’m hoping it turns out to be my holy grail!
What’s a Sephora trip without samples!?
Dior Diorskin Forever & Ever Wear Extreme Perfection & Hold Makeup Base: I’m typically not a fan of super high-end makeup brands like Dior, but the lady recommended it because it applies like lotion instead of a thick paste (like most mattifying primers do). The $50 price tag makes me have high expectations so we shall see!
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer
I normally don’t like using mattifying primers but I wanted to purchase one for my t-zone.
Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops (Hydration & Radiance): I have the Cover FX custom drops that are pure pigment which I mix with lotion to make foundation. I will have a full review of the foundation later, but I wanted to try mixing it with the infusion dropsI’m not sure what the real difference is between the hydration and radiance version are but I’ll be sure to come back and let you know!
Tarteist Gel Liner: I swear by my Stila waterproof eyeliner, but I’ve been on the hunt for something different. I wanted to give this a shot and I’ve been loving all my Tarte eye products so far so I hope this isn’t any different.
I was going to add all my skincare and hair products to this haul but I figured it would be a little overwhelming. I’ll be having uploading part two on Wednesday!
Have any of you tried the above products? Tweet me about them!
