Star Style with a twist
What I love: The sunglasses make this outfit for me. Rounded sunglasses are super trending right now
What I would change: In the photo she is wearing a corset and leggings. I personally would wear it with a white romper; or I would keep the corset and wear it with leather leggings.
Accesories: I actually like the gold link necklace in the photo better; but I already have a juicy couture necklace like the one in the set.
Makeup: The red lipstick just ties it all together. Keeps the edge to the look.

I finally bought the Clinique 3 step system that everyone has been raving about. I don’t have bad skin; I hardly ever get acne and my face isn’t really to dry. But I do have a few dark spots that I wanted to clean up; and overall just have healthy skin. I went to Macys and bought it at the Clinique counter. They have 4 treatments; Very Dry, Dry, Combo, Oily. I purchased Dry.  It was $70 total; and it came with these gifts:

My favorite Piece: The blazer; I love a great blazer with shoulder pads. I think it adds defintion to my frame and also can easy turn a look from plain to edgy.
My Spin on it: I would wear this outfit with a distressed jean. In LA the weather is either cold enough for a jacket or not cold enough at all. So the combo of jackets and shorts never really work for me
Makeup: Pair it with a nude lip; something simple and natural
Hair: Pinned up to show off the blazer
Handbag: Cheetah Print hand bag to add some color; but still keep the outfit subtle!

The top Makeup Primers

I used to think primer was a waste of money. As long as I moisutrized my face properly then I wouldnt need primer…right? Well I was completely wrong! This weekend I had an event and I borrowed my friends Bare Escentuals makeup primer; my face was radiant!! I later tried applying my makeup without the primer and literally my foundation looked like it was going to peel because my face was so dry and also flat!.

Ive tried the Bare escentuals one and loved it; and Ive also tried Mac before and my face felt too wet. So I wanted to ask you all what do you think about primers and which one do you use!?

Here is the list of makeup primers listed in the photo. Let me know what you think!?

1. Giorgio Armani Fluid Master Primer ($56)

2. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer ($36)

3. Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer ($30)

4. Bare Escentuals BareVitamins Prime Time Foundation Primer($21)

5. Cover Girl Simply Ageless Serum Primer ($13.99)

6. L’Oreal Studio Secrets Face Primer ($10.99)

Dash of Daring

This is a perfect play with color! The black top lets the color stand out. Most people struggle with bright colors because it can often look to youthfull if not done properly; but the black lace top adds the perfect amount of sophistication to this assemble. The color also allows for it to be  light enough for a day out during spring/summer.I would pair this with a pink lipstick to also add another dash of color.
